The Federal-Mogul Trust was formed in 2007 as a result of the bankruptcy of Federal-Mogul and its affiliates. As explained more fully in the TDP, the Trust is comprised of four unique subfunds: the T&N Subfund, the FMP Subfund, the Fel-Pro Subfund, and the Vellumoid Subfund. Information regarding pursuit of claims against the Fel-Pro and Vellumoid Subfunds can be found in the Fel-Pro and Vellumoid Q&A on the Documents page of this website. At this time, the Trust is establishing procedures and systems to receive and review FMP claims. Please check this website for further updates and instructions regarding the filing of FMP Subfund Claims. The Trust began accepting T&N Subfund Trust Claims on August 25, 2010 at 10 A.M. EST. Further information regarding the filing and processing of T&N Subfund Trust Claims can be found on this website.
The goal of the Trust is to process and pay claims as promptly and efficiently as possible. The T&N and FMP Subfunds are organized, in part, to settle all valid Asbestos Trust Claims for which T&N and/or its subsidiaries have legal responsibility in accordance with the Plan and TDP. These Trust Claims include T&N Subfund and FMP claims.
