Who Should File a Claim
Now that you have an understanding of the history of the T&N and FMP Entities, let’s explore who is eligible to file a claim with the T&N and/or FMP Subfund.
The T&N and FMP Subfund are designed to provide compensation for those who have an injury as a result of exposure to asbestos-containing products that were manufactured by T&N or FMP Entities. The T&N and FMP Subfund also protect those who are not presently injured but may develop an asbestos-related disease in the future due to exposure.
If you are unsure of your eligibility, you may still file a claim with the Trust. Your claim will be reviewed and we will determine your eligibility.
Choosing Claim Options

- Processed first, in order of first received by the Trust;
- Single, fixed payment;
- All Expedited Review claims of the same disease category receive the same payment amount;
- All Expedited Review claims are evaluated identically.
- Undergoes a more detailed review;
- Receives Individualized evaluation;
- Could result in a higher or lower payment than the Expedited Review
- Processed after Expedited Review claims received on the same date.
