T&N Subfund Trust Claim Payment
After your claim has been reviewed and approved for payment, an offer is sent to you in the form of a release. When you accept the offer, the original release must be signed and returned to the Trust. When the Trust receives the release back it is reviewed for deficiencies. A check payment is normally sent within 1-2 months. Pursuant to section 2.7 of the TDP, payments may be made installments.
Your payment will depend primarily on the claim option you choose:
The Expedited Review Processoption is paid the current Payment Percentage of the scheduled value for each disease as outlined in the TDP. Expedited Review is also intended to provide qualifying claimant a fixed and certain claims payment.
The Individual Review Process option is paid the current Payment Percentage of the gross settlement value and may be either greater or less than the Scheduled Value for the relevant disease level as outlined in the TDP.
